The Restricted Barber program provides the student instruction in hair shaping, including the application of hair tonics and hair spray, beard trimming, mustache trimming, hair and scalp treatment, shampoo and rinse, and hair setting. Students enrolled in this program will learn barbering techniques using the clipper and shears. The course includes the art of shaving the face and neck, cutting and arranging hair, facials, business development, wellness and retail knowledge. 
 
Upon successful completion of the program hours, clinical services, and final exam, the student will receive a diploma and will be eligible to apply for State of Florida licensing.
